Practical ways to reduce your Wine.com total, avoid extra fees, and get better value on every order
Browse Wine.com’s hidden low inventory deals
Bottles with just a few units left often drop in price. Check the low inventory filter for unexpected discounts.
Compare vintages within the same label
Some vintages of the same wine can be significantly cheaper while offering similar taste profiles.
Look for mix and match promotions
Wine.com frequently offers case-level discounts when you build your own bundled selection.
Use the professional ratings filter
High-rated but lesser-known vineyards can offer better value than well-known labels with similar scores.
Check the StewardShip program’s benefits
If you order multiple times a year, StewardShip can reduce overall costs even after factoring in the subscription fee.
Sort by price drop percentage
Filtering by discount amount helps surface wines that recently received sizable price reductions.
Look for winery-direct selections
Winery-direct items can have better pricing since Wine.com sources them without wholesalers.
Compare sizes and formats
Large-format bottles sometimes cost less per ounce compared to standard 750ml bottles.
Search for seasonal sale events
Wine.com often runs category-wide sales during holidays, which can reduce prices across dozens of labels.
Check states with better availability
Availability varies by location, and switching your delivery address may reveal better priced inventory.
Avoid last-minute purchases
Shopping ahead reduces the chance of paying higher prices for express shipping or limited inventory.
